Welcome to Bad Reichenhall! The house is situated in a very quiet but central location with many free parking spaces along the street. Both the centre of Bad Reichenhall and the spa garden are within walking distance of approx. 10 minutes. If you bring your bikes with you, you are welcome to store them with us! Sustainability is particularly important to us, which is why we have built our house as climate-friendly as possible from wood and insulated it extensively with renewable materials. We heat with wood pellets, a solar system helps us heat the water and since autumn 2022 we have also been operating a photovoltaic system on the roof. You can also fill up with the green and self-produced electricity at our wallbox or the two sockets for e-bikes, which bayerninnovativ supported us in setting up. There is a Geowave counter-earth radiation system and Grander water. Should the sun not be so kind to us, the public utility company will help us out with their green Saalach electricity. Activities in the surrounding area are: Cycling along the Saalach in all directions.

Salzburg Open Air Museum is 12 km from the apartment.

In 2020/21, we rebuilt our house and added a wooden post and beam extension. We renewed the balconies - including the one of the holiday flat - in the style of the larch formwork of our extension. Since the turn of the year, we have been living together with our 3 children in one flat, our (mother-in-law) in another, which means that three generations are united under one roof.
